Three ways to pay

Use the route your finance office already uses.

Card or purchasing card

Pay online in about two minutes. The Paddle checkout applies FOUNDING40 automatically until 30 Nov 2026, adds sales tax where it applies and emails the receipt and invoice. Your licence key appears on screen.

Purchase order and invoice

Make the PO out to Paddle.com Inc. and email it to support@atesensoftware.com. We send a Paddle invoice with your PO number on it, payable net 30 by bank transfer or card, and email your licence key once the PO is confirmed, so your team can start before the invoice is due.

Purchase limits

Every plan is below the federal micro-purchase threshold.

The federal micro-purchase threshold has been $15,000 since 1 October 2025 (FAR 2.101). Purchases under federal awards use the same threshold unless your organisation set a different one (2 CFR 200.320). States, districts and utilities often have their own small-purchase rules: check your own limit.

Refund, data and security, in short.

14-day full refund

If Bidtally does not work for your data, ask within 14 days of purchase and Paddle refunds the full amount to the original payment method.

Refund policy

Your data stays on your computer

Bids, prices and student counts are read and scored in your browser and never sent to us. The optional Form 470 lookup reads only USAC's public record of the number you type.

Security and architecture

Payments handled by Paddle

Card and bank details go to Paddle only, never to us. Paddle publishes its security documents at trust.paddle.com.

Privacy policy

Sole-source letter

A short justification you can adapt.

Most purchases at this price need no justification. If your rules ask for one, copy this letter, fill in the brackets and check each statement against your own review.

Subject: Sole-source justification for Bidtally

We request approval to buy a 12-month licence for Bidtally, browser software that checks and scores E-rate competitive bids, for $[amount] (plans cost $594–$2,340 with the founding offer, $990–$3,900 list). The seller of record is Paddle.com Inc., reseller and merchant of record for the publisher, Atesen Software.

Bidtally is the only product we found that meets all of these requirements:
- it runs in the browser: bids, prices and student counts are not uploaded to any vendor
- it reads the Form 470 certification date from USAC's public data and checks the 28-day wait before the allowable contract date
- it checks the evaluation matrix (price weighted more than any other single factor) and scores every bid with our own matrix
- it flags what a USAC reviewer looks for: a bid due date or a contract signed before the allowable contract date, a selected bid that is not the highest scored, late bids and disqualifications without a stated reason
- it produces an evaluation workbook, a signature-ready evaluation memo, an FRN worksheet and a document retention checklist

We also considered [other products or methods] and found that [why they do not meet the requirements, e.g. price, data leaving our network, or missing checks].

The price is below our [micro-purchase / small-purchase] limit of $[limit]. The licence is a one-time payment for 12 months with no automatic renewal, and the publisher refunds the full amount if we ask within 14 days of purchase.
